Side curtain dzus screws and "Socket"?

I'm installing the side curtains on my 3 for the first time and have a couple questions. How many pieces are there to the Dzus screw ...is there a spring in it and a rubber washer? I only have the chrome part so am not sure what's missing and the Moss pic is not clear. Is the socket the wooden part that goes in the door itself? Anyone have pic of these pieces so I can tell what's missing? Any help most appreciated. Karl

Re: Side curtain dzus screws and "Socket"?

As the TRF diagram shows, spring and steel washer. The washer has to be forced over the end of the Dzus button, after installing the button and spring through the sidecurtain leg. It's been awhile, but ISTR I used a socket and a big C-clamp for forcing the washer into place.

There are metal socket assemblies that gets screwed to the wood in the door (over the door panel), one each 607106 & 107 per side.

Thanks Frank and Randall. I have a set of aluminum side curtains that look professionally built. Were they offered in the aftermarket or an option back in the day or maybe just custom made?

Aftermarket would be my guess. Here's a shot of some that JC Whitney used to carry, but there were others styles available at various times:
