Here is more or less where I am at with mine so far - still deep in the "some assembly required" stage but batteries are included at this point.
This was taken right around the beginning of the year - engine and gearbox are in and it will run at this point. Lights all working, brakes and clutch all renewed but otherwise still an empty shell.
Engine bay looking pretty OK, but still no air cleaners yet because I need to get the mixture control cable run first since it connects to one of the air cleaner brackets.
Dusty as heck and you can see a couple spots where paint work is needed, but overall the body is in surprisingly good condition.
Looks like an absolute disaster in here, but under that red oversprayed newspaper on the floors are brand new zero rust floor pans. Gauges necessary to run the engine are zip tied to the front body structure.
The other side is pretty good as well - I have the grille, bumper, lower air dam (need to paint that) and such but those will get installed pretty much as the last steps since I have better access the way it is now. Yes thats a spare overdrive transmission sitting on the dolly - might need it.
This was taken last weekend - air cleaners now installed as well as new metal float vent lines that route down below the exhaust.
Fairly decent progress here - front panel is largely complete and fully functional excluding the heater controls. The center vents aren't connected to anything since none of the fittings are available - that opening may become a GPS at some point. Need to get/fabricate some sort of lenses for the brights indicator and alternator warning lamps. Center section wiring has been repaired (and labelled) where previous owners chopped it apart with various radio installs or whatever - some wiring will not be reused since I don't have the later year seats that have the microswitches for the seatbelt warning system and I'll be using the older style seatbelts that attach to the rear deck. Hazard lights system is completely functional again. All exterior bulbs except the headlights have been switched to LEDs - gauge backlights are LED now as is the hazard indicator for the center section and the brights indicator. Turn signal indicators on the panel and the alternator warning light are still incandescent because they don't work properly otherwise.
