Should I - or Shouldn't I?

Don't walk - run as fast as you can away from that car. The only good thing about buying it would be that you would get to meet many of us as we converged from the four corners of the continent for an intervention!

Run............away.............as.............fast............as...........you................can.

Shouldn't. My oh my... it's been fully molested.

You can't be serious!!!!

AS someone who owns a 67 EType (and love it will never part with it). For that particular example: Run Forrest!

"This car needs a lot of work but is very restorable with mostly minor rust issues." ??????? When does being optimistic cross the line into being outright delusional?

Doug, I'm a sucker when it comes to bringing home basket cases. but you'd have to drop a 0 off that price before I'd bring that one home. That thing needs a TON of work!

Craigs in Chicago had a 68 XKE Coupe that ran and drove for $16000. Decent old paint for a driver. By the time I hooked up trailer and loaded everything and called it was gone.

Sorry All,

This was PURE sarcasm - I was hoping to point out
that this once beautiful car was reduced to this.

Larry,

You owned a 1600E - tell me more!

- Doug

JP, Didn't you read my comments under the posting? - Doug
