I've been thinking about some things and wondering if I should sell my Sprite and put some $ with it to buy a bugeye. I listed the car on craigslist.org with a price of $6000 (but I think that is high). Figured if someone wanted to give me that I would take it! I do have attachment emotionally to this little car but I really did want a bugeye originall. Either way I am fixing my brake lines this weekend once I get the car out of storage and also checking my suspension out further to see what exactly I need to replace to make things up to par. Everything else is really good.

If you really like the Bugeye "look", a nose from one will fit on your car pretty easily. There are fiberglass Bugeye noses available.

Just put a few $$'s aside every week & before you know it, you'll be able to grab a BE without selling yours! Then, you have the option....or you end up like me...hehehehe
 
I would have to rent another storage shed if I had two! Haha! I am not letting my car go for anything but a bugeye or a classic Mini. Right now I enjoy doing things to it, making it better. I really wish it was pink like that one on ebay but I am not even going there /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I had sold my first 66 Sprite within a day of putting it on Craigslist, and had to come up with a fib in order to back out on the guy when I decided to keep both of them...

That deep pink one on ebay has had my attention all week.. Mostly because I'm curious to see the final price. It's a cool color.
