Yes they should!
Woke up this morning and there was a new dusting of snow and temperatures were in the single digits and schools were on a two hour delay. Now that should have told me something!
It didn't.
When the temperature got to a balmy 20, Agatha and I started our trek into Albuquerque (about 20+ miles). There was Agatha finally warmed up to about 120 and there was I clad in an extra sweater, jean jacket and outer jacket with hood. Add to this earmuffs and gloves and you have Nanook of the North. Off we went accompanied by a crosswind and husband. Husband was behind me in a 70 degree controlled atmosphere, wind resistent vehicle called Emma Envoy. Route 66 all the way.
Upon arriving at our destination I have to say that it wasn't all the bad, after all my tears did freeze to my face and I certainly had that healthy sun baked look.
I have to be honest and say that if I hadn't made a commitment to the New Mexico Council of Car Clubs, I would not have made this trip. My only consolation is that I really did enjoy the epic drive and will do the same again on Sunday evening.
P.S. It was top down all the way! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif
