Strange that in a neighborhood of trees, the lightning chose his truck. Looks more like thermite to me. But then, I'm not an expert on lightning melting engines.

Look at where it all begins and then heads for the engine block!!! Thermite would have made a hole in the glass and then dropped straight through would it not? That video shows an angled trajectory, down the windscreen and into the engine compartment!!!! Are you suggesting insurance fraud??? Nasty thing to find in ones driveway no matter what!!!
