Shockabsorber oil

Hi,

What type of oil/weight would you recommend for my 100's Shock absorbers? Is plain hydraulic oil OK or are there any advantages using for example special (motorcycle fork) damper oil?

<span style="font-family: 'Comic Sans MS'">I'm not sure of any advantages, but I bought Screaming Eagle Heavy-Duty fork oil from a local Harley-Davidson dealership and used it without any issues. It ran about $5.00 a pint a couple of years ago.</span>
