shock arm bolts

while attempting to change my front shocks today im having trouble getting 2 of the mounting bolts loose...broke a socket trying....not rusted, any ideas? ...zimmmy
 
Try heat and penetrating oil, as they could be corroded to the aluminum shock bodies, even though you can't see it.
 
i'm always a fan of impact guns over leverage on stuck stuff. Can you sneak one in there? (assuming you have access to one)
 
As bad as I HATE to say this Zimmy, look on the underside!! A DPO could very well have put a NUT on the bolt below the threaded captive one!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif
