Exhaust gaskets for our '67 MGB GT with a MOSS Stainless Steel exhaust.
MOSS sells the exhaust,but not the gaskets.Shipping was $15.99 on a $23.96
purchase. It's the only place I know to get these,so I just accepted it.
On the other hand,it got here from Denver in only 2 days.

I'm a little confused - not about the shipping cost or the fact that the gaskets could have been shipped in a much smaller/less expensive package.

What I am confused about is the application - all the MGB engines I have seen and/or worked on had a combined intake/exhaust gasket where they attach to the head, and there were only 3 exhaust ports on the head. So where do these go?

Probably just me but when I saw the label "Vibrant Performance" my mind went in a whole different direction. (especially with an unlabelled box - just sayin)

Could be one of those things where the shipper only keeps certain size boxes to reduce cost so you got the smaller one they use even though it's technically too big. Then shipping I gather is both weight and dimensions to decide cost since the larger each box, the fewer other boxes potentially in a single load going out in the shipper's truck. Plus overall cost inflation since I've seen stuff that costs more to ship that it used to.

This illustrates just one of several reasons I do not use Moss for anything. They feel they can charge anything they want. They like their products MUCH more than I do. For what they charge for their parts, the shipping should be free. ...J.D.

A local muffler shop can get these at a much lower cost and with no shipping. They might also have to order them, but the price will be much lower in the end.

I probably should have checked around, but I wanted to make sure
that I had them before the GT goes back together.
