Shiny bits

Sounds like the guys covered most of the bases here. I would agree with the buffing wheel on the bench grinder. FWIW - Sears makes a kit with cloth wheels and rouge. Another tip to keep things nice and shiney is to seal them with clear coat. For most of my engine bay stuff I used high temp engine clear from Duplicolor. It comes in a rattle can.

Just beware, once you start to clean and polish you'll want to do everything! As the really clean part makes the others look worse! It's a dangerous trail! LOL!
