Shifting Troubles

I just got my 77 MGB out today after being in storage all winter. Everything was working fine till I stoped about 3 times and i had trouble shifting into 1st gear. Finally when i got it back into gear I drove two blocks home were i had trouble shifting it into gear again. I had to rock the car a wee bit by hand and then it would finally shift out of neutral. I also think the clutch peddle is a little easier to press then I last remember. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Does anyone have a rough idea what my problem may be.
Thanks

Your clutch slave cylinder may have finally given out or clutch master. Have someone push in clutch pedal while you watch pushrod underneath car. Make sure you are getting full stroke from slave cylinder, if you are, then it may be internal.

I had a similar problem with my 80MGB. It wouldn't shift into first and the more I drove it 2nd and 3rd were difficult too. I replaced the slave cylinder and bled the line. That cured my problem. It was an easy job.
