T-Series Shifting Dipswitch from floor to column

I'm thinking of moving the headlamp dip switch from the floor to the column switch ('71 GT). One opinion however says that he prefers the switch on the floor so he 'can keep both hands on the wheel' - which I find a little odd, since it's just a finger flick anyway, rather than going hunting next to the clutch.

Any tips on the technical aspects of this or how big a job it is?

Hi SOS, Shouln't be too big a job if a stalk with the Dip switch is available. However , An additional Plus for moving it is: now you have more room to rest the left foot!---Fwiw---Keoke

Far more practical on the column, a conversion for mine in the future!
