Gentlemen:

I purchased a rubber shifter cover for my 1960 BE from either VB or Moss. I installed it in the Spring and it is already splitting.

Does anyone us something else? Perhaps a leather cover that is more durable?

Moss shifter rubber covers are just fine.

Call whoever you got that through and get another. Must have been one of those weird things. I have a Moss one on mine and it seems to be just fine.
 
Thanks, guys.

I'll have to try to go through my notes to see if I can find whomever sold it to me. I generally toss most of my receipts as most of what I buy does work properly.
