Shelf life ?

Thinking about doing some body work in the near future. I have some fiberglass resin that has been in the shop for four or five years, unheated space of course, and a gallon of filler. How long can these products be stored and still be useable?

I would think the resin would be fine as long as it has never met any hardener.
 
I know that some polyester resins have about a 6 month life for the catalyst. I've also had epoxy go bad. You could always mix a test up to see how it does, but I'd be dubious of it.
