My faithful old gal won't start this morning. She kicked over first try but I felt she needed more choke. The second time, no crank. Ignition light on, power to the radio and lights. I left with a battery charger on hoping to get somewhere tonight. There may have been some drain on the battery when I worked on the OD relay last week. I intend to try the remote starter button first. I don't have my wire diagram with me at work but is the starter fused? If not where should I start looking this evening?

Hi TH,
No the starter isn't fused. Did you put the radio in resently? It's possible the red/white wire at the ignition switch got jostled while you were in there. That wire goes to the starter. You can get to my wiring diagram in the BCF WIKI if that will help.
 
Radio in second week of July (thanks again) but the conection was made a long time ago and is on the bullet conection is on the passinger side under the glove box. So nowhere near the switch. I may have hit something with the choke. It almost seems like a short cause the red light went out when the key was turned all the way right.
 
With a charge for 8 hours she started. I checked the battery and two cells were low on water and not as acid as the others. I'm leaving the charge on a couple of days until I get a chance to drive a few miles. The generator seems OK. Thanks.
