Sharing my goose bumps

Pat, I wish you were closer to help me bring the TD back to life. Another un-restored survivor.

Another thing to do is document its condition...I'm excitedly awaiting the disc of Vince's TD that he's sending me..it'll be a tremendous assist when we put mine back together.

nuthin-been changed, All the old stuff, except a few nuts, iggy parts from vintage spares. he was restored in the UK in 1960 before the skip, very solid. Sat for 20yrs in an estate, made runnable, very humble my friend. This is why I am reluctant to restore.

The other matter was to get items that were removed back reinstalled.

So now unmolested PB runs, drives, and is 98% complete, has full docs from the MMM boys and only a few iggy and hardware replacements.

Doc you have really discounted me badly!!!!

but a shark engine is sitting in the corner of the garage

(I've got my eyes on you)

Pat

Chances are that it isn't really original. Most if not all pre-war MGs have been driven quite a lot, which means lots of garage repairs over the years. But even though it may not be as the factory built it, it still has history and best of all, original (rebuildable) parts.

Great, I like it just as it is, cleaning is great and fixing something that does not work correctly is appropiate.

Otherwise, show it off and enjoy it.

Had to show Kay the pic, she just sighed.

Oh yea Pat, he will speek when he gains your full trust. He's had a few bad years.

HUH??!?? No I've not! You've got my admiration and respect. You're doing precisely the right thing by the P-type, IMO.

You've posted the job you did on the frogeye and I consider that first rate as well! I know you're a craftsman. No way have I thought otherwise. No clue how you have the impression I'm slaggin' ya.

As for th' shark engine, well... no worries about ME but you may wanna keep an eye out fer that 'Bret' fella.
