You may have already heard about this, but for those who haven't. It's stunning how well preserved this ship is.

PS: I bought the documentary Chasing Shackleton in which a group of modern explorers re-trace Shackleton's journey from Elephant Island, 800 miles to South Georgia Island, then hiking across the island to a small whaling station on the other side. Of course these modern exploreres had a rescue ship shadowing them the whole time, but it really gave you a sense of the amazing feat of Shackleton and his small crew who made the journey to rescure the rest of the men on Elephant Island.

F.A. Worsley's book, Endurance, is an excellent account of Shackleton's expedition. If you don't know who Worseley was, he was the captain of the Endurance and eventually the navigator for Shackleton's journey from Elephant Island to South Georgia Island.
