Sexy computer ads...

great memories! Takes me back to my original Osborne I "portable". I still have it (probably explains a lot about me ...).

Here's an original Osborne ad, promoting its advantages for the up and coming business man (and woman!).

And it had a 5 inch screen!</span>

I briefly had an Osborne descendant (can't remember what it was called). Big 5.25" floppy drives, amber monitor and all. I also remember a Tandy 5mb hard-drive that cost something like $5000. Well, I suppose we all have such stories, but the ads were amusing. I think there is a video (at the Perlinger Archives) of a Sharp 4 function calculator from 1965 or so that is $400.

P.S. - found it... https://archive.org/details/sharp_calculator_2 but it might be from about 1970. BTW, this archive is an amazing place.
