Does this bother anyone else? A contestant correctly "de-codes" the Jeopardy answer "Seven Swans a-Swimming", but is denied the prize when the host feels she mis-pronounced it?

The answer was right - but she's penalized for her pronunciation. Grumble grumble.

Jeez ...

 
That would be "Wheel of fortune" and I hear they have some very strict rules regarding pronunciation.

But but... the "G" was already up there. Was she, therefore, suggesting that a letter be REMOVED? What a shame.
 
Their dollars, their rules. Think it a little much but...
 
The contestants know the rules going into it.

I don't speak "Southern" but one wonders if the rules are clear about accents. :friendly_wink: Still, we've seen people lose a lot of dollars on Jeopardy for not phrasing a response as a question.
