Set of Five Austin Healey 3000 Disc Wheels

Hey Guys-
Before I put these up on eBay I thought I'd offer them here. I bought this set of steel wheels and then had them professionally media blasted and powder coated. I then did my research, a little late in the process, and discovered these don't bolt onto a wire wheel car. Different Drums are needed in the rear and different front hubs are required. I have the rear drums, which are tough to find, I obviously have the wheels, I have a set of 4 quality British-made repro hubcaps, and I have a lead on a guy selling a set of the front hubs. So... the hard work has been done

Anyway I don't want to do this anymore. If though you have a disc wheel car already, or seriously want to convert your wire wheel car back to disc (mine was original disc but somewhere in history it was converted) then this could be a good solution. These are straight and so pretty it's ridiculous.

Maybe with the Healey Conclave in San Diego someone coming through, on their way to San Diego, could pick them up? I am even willing to ship them but it would likely be $20-$25 per wheel (I am guessing) for shipping. Plus there are hubcaps and rear drums... all of this together makes for some serious weight for shipping.

Here are the pics:

Anyway I have about $800-$900 in this set (wheels, restoration, rear drums, hubcaps). I will consider all offers.
Regards,
Matt-

How much is it worth not to send this URL to your wife....

"Honey...those are 'old car parts' on my dining room table!!!!!"

My wife thinks they make great centerpieces... :jester:

They are very nice wheels, somebody here should pick them up...

D'oh. I was so thinking that when I saw the pictures.

My better half has gotten used to finding car parts in the dishwasher. She probably woundn't bat an eye about rims on the dining room table.

They are gorgeous; I'll be thinking about (buying) them all day.

My car is already converted to bolt-on wheels, so all I'd need is skinny tires.

I could even use my DHL account and just mail you the shipping labels to put on the boxes.

Oh boy, I'm already thinking of excuses to tell my wife...
