Can anyone tell me what type of battery a '69 Series II E-type clock requires? Mine was pulled out in '71, when the car was stuck in the ubiquitous hanger, and I'm crossing my fingers that the clock just may work if the smoke reservoir is re-introduced.
If no one responds: (I just looked in the owners' handbook and only found that it is to be replaced every 18 months. So, I looked in the parts manual and found no listing for the battery, just the clock.) Call Jim Taliaferro at XKs Unlimited 1-800-444-5247 Ext. 238, XKs had a listing for the battery and I'm sure they will be glad to help. 10:30A to 8:30PM M-F and 12:00PM to 4:00PM Sats for your Eastern time.
