series 1.5 bonnet headlight conversion

I am considering changing the open headlights to covered. I have heard various opinions on the ease and/or dificulties.
Is there a website/article out there where I can do a little more research and cost analysis?

If there is someone on the forum who has done this I would love to hear from you.

There are some variations in series 1.5 cars. Some have open lamps in the original (low) position. Some have the raised lamps like series 2 The series 2 and later cars have the chrome "crows foot " part that disguises the fact that the lights were raised. For the life of me I cannot remember how it was done with the low lights. Anyway, you will have to replace the "sugar scoops" that the light mounts into. Since there was a LOT of hand fitting when the cars were built, you can just bet that it will not quite bolt right in. I am not saying don't do it, just that (Like most things on E types) it is likely to be more of a project than it looks like, no matter what the makers say.
