Yesterday morning on the way to work I spotted a burgundy E type being flat towed, I pulled up alongside, looked like a 68 or 69, was a convertible, leaking fluids looked like antifreeze in the front and oil from the rear. Anyway, long shot, but South 27th and Highway 2, Heading north on 27th Street, Lincoln, NE, I am active in my local club, but don't think it is from the club, longshot, but any clue whose from the fellow Midwesterners on the list?
