Hi All,
i just wanted to mention to everyone here that i’m selling the Bugeye. It’s been a wonderful 14 years of ownership with many, many, fond memories. I bought it for twice what it was worth and ended up taking it off the road after just a year of enjoying it to perform a restoration. When I started the restoration my kids were in diapers, now they’re almost through junior high and i’ve Only had the car back on the road for two years! There are too many people here to thank personally by name for all the help they’ve provided over the years, but I still want to say thank you to everyone here for all you do to help others. This is a wonderful fellowship of enthusiasts!
my only reason for selling is to generate funds to start another project. I really enjoyed the process of researching, fabricating, procuring, repairing, painting and assembling the car. It’s something I would like to do again, but I need to move this one on to another owner and make space and provide capitol. I still have the car’s original bonnet that I would like to repair with the same care and detail I put into the car. Also, I might like to mate it up with a body shell i’ve Been through in order to offer someone a complete shell to transfer their parts onto and paint in the color of their choice. A lot of possibilities for my next endeavor and i’m Excited for what the future might bring!
