Sell the Sprite? Or, store the Sprite?

$5,000 sound reasonable for a solid driver MKII here in the northeast?

Worstcase, I suppose I could winterize it, squeeze it into the corner of the garage and wrap it up tight to keep the autobody dust off it. I just don't like the idea of working around it all winter...Anyone have car cover recommendations that are tight fitting and "dust proof"?

My guess... $4000 on Ebay, or $3200 local sale.

They make those big bubbles you can put your car into & inflate.
Pretty sure Tony has used one, if not someone else here.

Yep, I've got my '53 TD in a bubble...works great inside but the instructions don't recomment it for outside use....but, those tents that Lowe's sales would protect it from winter weather.

&, about Bugs....here's mine:

Everybody needs a Bug in their garage!

Just from what I saw in the pic $3500??

Those bubble covers sound interesting, though the 24/7 fan sounds like a bit of a nuisance and waste of energy. Assuming 10 watts for their 50 cfm fan, that comes out to about 7 kilowatt-hours per month. Not a massive amount, but not insignificant if you're concerned about environmental matters (sorry, I'm both a car geek and an alternative energy geek (3.2 kw solar array on my roof). It seems like there should be a less energy intensive way to keep dust off the car.

I don't think you'll get $5,000 for a MKII in that condition even in the spring. I've seen older amateur bugeye restorations in that price range. An old amateur restoration with bubbles showing? A rebuild from the 80s? I think $3500 is on the high end. In this market, $2500 is more like it. Hope I'm not offending anyone. Just my opinion.
