Inquiring minds need to know: How can a watch know the yardage for the hazards and greens????

Bushnell Neo. Uses that jack-of-all-trades - satellites.
Accurate within a couple of feet. Costs about $180 or so.
There are other rangefinders that you look through and they may be even more accurate but I can't look through them. My son has one.

I use a GPS rangefinder frequently (not to mention embarrassingly when I measure how far my tee shot didn't go) - I was just trying to reconcile a watch with it. Didn't consider the smartwatch, never had one.

I can recommend the Bushnell. There are others. Some are expensive.
