TR2/3/3A Seeking advice on how to repair TR3 steering wheel broken spoke.

I am seeking advice on best and easiest method to repair a broken spoke on my TR3 steering wheel. I have attached pictures of the broken spoke. From what I've seen on the forums, it appears I will have to break away the "bakelite" and weld the spokes to the rim, and then use some form of epoxy to reform the steering wheel where I remove the "bakelite". Thanks for any advice!

I agree these are hard to find. There's a British company that supplies a nice replacement, I am at a loss to find their contact info, I think you could try Macy's garage too. https://macysgarage.com/wood wheels.htm.
 
If all 4 are broken at that point, what are the chances that the others are about to break? What you've outlined is the only way I see to repair it, but I think David has the right idea : Look for a good used one from another car. That looks to be a non-adjustable wheel, and they are relatively common in good condition. (For some reason, the adjustable ones fail much more often.)
 
Wow I remember the Roth brothers from years ago; they actually had a junk yard of tr3 and tr2 and some tr4 open to the public.
 
1. I'm not sure it's worth the effort to properly and safely repair that. As others suggest, a used one should not be that difficult to locate.
2. I'd be very, very concerned about the integrity of that wheel (and any sort of "repair" you might be able to make). I don't think I'd want the rest of the rim to fall off while driving! (See also #1)
