Securon Seat Belts

Does anyone have experience with fitting Securon seat belts in their cars? I just got a new pair in. The one thing I guess I'm concerned with is the over-the-shoulder part of the belt and how that's configured to stay where it needs to.

I put one in Jim, wasn't a problem to install, but the over the shoulder part is a pain.
I had to fiddle with the two 'direction' screws which deal with the inertia part of the recoil, for a good hour before I got it right, 50 pence piece did come in handy.
Anyway, I snagged a retainer that bolted to one of the three bolts that the canopy bolts to, and solved the problem of it staying where it needed to.

I discussed this with someone else on this forum over the Securon belts and they were not too pleased with the quality. I also discovered the a replacement for the belts do not work correctly as most retractable seat belts will only release in the vertical position- they were useless in my Midget.

I bought a set of 3 point retractables from Moss. They weren't cheap, but they worked and they were in my opinion a better quality piece than the OEM belts.

I installed the left side last night. How do you keep the shoulder strap up so you can reach for the belt? Is there something that needs to be mounted on the door post to keep it held in place?
