I recently purchased an Austin Healey 100/6, my second after selling my 100/4 60 years ago. The car appears to be in very good original condition with 41,000 miles on the clock after allegedly having been originally owned by a member of a large Australian wine making family. It drives well but I am noticing that the clutch is spinning after it has been driven for about an hour making it difficult to get into first or reverse gear. As this problem seems to be heat related I am trying to work out what the problem may be. Has anyone had a similar problem with their clutch?
