I'm in the process of rebuilding a1955 BN1.The car came with no seats. Is there any difference in the look of the seats compared to later models. If anyone has a set, I'm interested. Thanks, Tyrone

I have a good pair from a 1960 BN7 restored with the car but now replaced with leather versions. I'll try to attach pictures. DSC_3071.jpgDSC_3080.jpg

The earlier seats (BN1, BN2 and early (Longbridge) BN4 are the same. The later cars are different in the covering and seat base, but are interchangeable with the earlier ones.

Passengers seat would be fixed too with no sliders. This is what they would look like basically. Note the piping difference. The seat bases are different too.

As John says you could use the seats from a later model as they are the same size and shape. The seats in the photo are the 'newer' type which had thin seat bases and piping that cuts inside the seat back at the bottom as can be seen. Overall the seats are same shape so its not an obvious change.
