seat upholestery - am I kidding myself?

Hi, money pit - well, after all of this and days of indecision, I just got off of the telephone with Dave from Phoenix Upholstery, and we finalized a deal to have him supply the material and cover the seats. I would have never found him without your input, so thanks a lot. And to everybody else who contributed to my question, thanks to you all too! I'll post pictures when I get the seats, probably 4 or 5 weeks. Thanks to all! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

I bet it was his British accent that sealed the deal!

Kidding aside you won't find anyone more knowledgeable than Dave when it comes to Healey interiors. He helped make Heritage Upholstery what it is today. Chances are if you placed an order with Heritage over the past 10 yrs. he probably did your seats, tops or panels. Heck! he even cored my seats so that I wasn't looking at the top of the windshield contrary to someone's suggestion that you just cut the seat foam which throws every thing else out of whack.

Congrat's on your choice and look forward to seeing the finished product.

OK, four months later and I took most of yours advice, and had them professionally done by Dave Gallagher of Phoenix Upholstery. Attached are the picture(s) he sent me, they are on their way to me. These are for a BN-4 Longbridge built 100-6.

They sure are - I'm so happy I brought the question onto the forum, and got all the advice that I did. I'd have never found Dave Gallagher at Phoenix if it wasn't for the Forum. Thanks to everybody!

Your seats looks gorgeous! Some jobs are best left to the Pro's and the end result show's it in your case. You'll find the quality exceptional. Ironically you chose the same color combo as me and I post a pick if I could figure out how to do it (even after looking it up in help section)??? I'm trying to figure out how to upload a picture file from Nikon view??

Thanks, DT - I would try to help you with the pic loading, but it took me a half hour to do it, and I'm not even sure what I did to get it done.

Is it permissible for someone to mention an approximate price for someone like Phoenix Upholstry to provide labor only to cover leather seats. This would go a long way in the decision making process.

Why not just call the vendor and ask him John?---Fwiw-Keoke

It's Phoenix Upholstery, his name is Dave Gallagher, and his shop is 604 913 1380, his cell is 778 838 4527. He's a good guy, and he will work with you. Give him a call!
