TR4/4A Seat rebuilding

I'm dismantling a couple of seats for my TR4a and I noticed a significant cant once the covers were off. Are these seats handed? I'm also wire brushing the rust off of the frame in preparation for painting or powder coating and wanted to see what y'all recommend.
Thanks, Rut

Yes there is a left and right. I used spray cans on the frames. The clips looked cheesy for the backs so I sewed new webbing from the fabric store. Then ordered seat bottoms, foam and covers from TRF but didn't trust myself and had them finished. There is an excellent article on BCF by allenjohnturner on the whole process for 4A seats, I might have even tried covering the foams had it been available when I did it.

When I removed both seats out of my TR6 I thought the seats were "bent" until I read that they are indeed handed.

Thanks guys! I found the article by Alan and printed it out for a guide.

Rut,

Can you post a link? I couldn't find it. Thanks! BTW ... did you get your grille back yet?
