    Re: HS6 BJ7 Carb Insulators

    Maybe the HS carbs are more prone to vapor lock - hence the BJ7 having more insulators than previous cars. The PO went even better with 6 instead of 4.

    I think the originals were black phenolic--aka Bakelite--and, as you say, there was one on each side of the heat shield. It almost looks like a PO rolled

    IMO you'd be better off to stick with the 28% OD whether you go to a center shift or not - better cruising speed. A friend has one on his BN6 with bored/cammed

    My car has had its rear lever action shocks replaced with a Wheewlright tube shock conversion. The shocks are stamped made in england 010672. What shocks replace the ones I have? Where to find them?
