I'm 6'2", about 190, with 12 1/2 size feet :eeek:. In a GT6 I have to wear special shoes in order to fit my feet in the pedal box. Bulky (mostly winter) type shoes simply won't fit down in the pedal box and the pedals are too close together to negotiate with any degree of accuracy (very dangerous, I might add). Most of the time I'd simply chuck the shoes and drive in my socks or bare feet.

I gotta tell ya, at first I found it tough to negotiate the pedals in my Sprite with my flip-flops. I got used to it. That would be rough, having to wear shoes...
 
The trouble with sandals is, you kinda cook that right foot in summer driving!

Oh come on, we get the occasional summer heat wave. :smile:

It's worse when driving east of the mountains in summer, but the traffic isn't much of a concern. When it is sunny you want to put that top down and go driving, sometimes that involves I-5 and Tacoma or I-405 & Southcenter or the S curves.

Those times the right foot can get pretty hot. :devilgrin:
 
Heat wave,, ha,, well I am trying to get rid of the last 6 inches of ice in front of the garage door so I can get Sparky out, meanwhile its 15 degrees C out side and more sun and warmer tomorrow. And I cant even go for a drive !!!!
 
I thought when I tried it the seat movement lever was jambed against it so you could not slide.

Those clips are tough little suckers. I didn't lose a single one. Be careful prying them off--they <span style="font-style: italic">can </span>fly across the room! The tough bit is the tacking strip at the base of the backrest. At least, it was for me. (Rusty staples. :madder: )
