Seat Handle

You can make it out of wood. I don't have a lathe, but I drilled and inserted a metal rod in a hunk of wood dowel and chucked it into a drill press and let it spin while I attacked it with various files and an abrasive drum on a hand drill to get the taper right. Then finish with sandpaper, prime and coat with gloss black. I can't tell the difference from the other one.
