So I was removing the seats yesterday and noticed that one of the bolts that the seatback hinges on had sheared off. I haven't been able to locate the bolt on Moss or VB, so I'm thinking a trip to the hardware store is going to be my only option... has anyone else had to find this bolt?

alook on AH Spares has answered my question... looks like it's a stud attached to the frame...

Sean - I would use a shoulder bolt of an appropriate size rather than an ordinary bolt. I don't know what size it would be because I dont have my seat frames yet. Maybe the shoulder bolt for the top of the telescoping hood prop would work. (available at VB and AH Spares)

Well if it were me I would remove the broken stud and replace it with a bolt with a sleeve mde up to fit it so that when the nut is tightened it won't move around. Either that or weld in a new stud.

Kurt.
