T-Series Seat belt warning switch

Hi I am new to the forum.

This is my second MGB I had a 72 in 73 and liked it so much that three years ago I bought a 77. I have been working on it and it is prety nice now.

My current problem is that my wife bought me some Securon replacement seat belts for Christmas and they do not have a place to mount the switch on the drivers belt for the warning light. I figure I have three options 1) find a way to retrofit the switch in the new belt 2) Find a new belt with a switch. 3) disable the switch and not have a seatbelt warning system. How has everyone else delt with this?

It's also odd in that I had my belts replaced about 7-8 years ago under the (even then) very old late model MG belt recall. The new belts I received did not have any electrical connections for the seat belt warning light either.

I have no switches for the seatbelts, and I also disconnected the switches in the seats. I removed the seatbelt warning lamp and in its place I installed a button for my remote garage door opener.
