Seat belt fixing

What size bolt secures the seat belts to the transmission tunnel?
There is a captive nut ready to accept the bolt. It looks like a unc thread?

I think they are usually a 7/16 UNF.
Could be wrong though.

I finally got around to trying the 7/16 UNF bolt and it won't fit. Must be another size.

Any ideas? I will try and get hold of a UNC to see if that sorts it.

Looking at the SC Parts catalogue it would appear to definitely be UNF but this could be an after market set up.

I tried a 7/16 UNF and 7/16 UNC and neither bolt seems to fit. It looks about the right diameter but the thread must be something else?
