1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500, all of a sudden the seatbelt buzzer wont shut off...key off and removed still goes on and on...tried attaching seatbelts and disengaging......is there a quick fix? I cant even find the buzzer! Thanks for your assistance in this matter

I can't recall whether it was my TR6 or my son's Fiat that came with a buzzer but I took it out and tossed it in the garbage. It was under the dash.

Don't know about the Spitfire but on the TR6 the buzzer is in the passenger foot well.
Do you have a seat switch that is possibly not working (stuck in the NC position)?

Here's a wiring diagram, looks like the buzzer wires have orange stripes, but can't help you with exactly where it is located, I agree with the advice to disable it, you can decide whether you want to wear seatbelts without the annoying buzzer, had an RX7 that buzzed when you left the keys in the ignition, when you do your own work on a car you often leave the keys in as you work on it, locating and disabling that buzzer was the best thing I ever did to the car. EDIT I am an idiot, forgot to post a link https://triumphspitfire.com/images/wiring/78diagram.jpg

On earlier Spitfires with the key buzzer, the buzzer unit was up under the dash pretty far to the LH side, as I recall. Don't know if it might have moved on later cars, though. On the early cars at least, it looked very similar to a flasher unit.
