On the subject of "doing it in an MG" I can remember some years ago a Midget owner I knew reckoned that he could trace his love life by the size of the steering wheel in his car:

Bachelor: Need room for *ahem* unorthodox positions = small non standard steering wheel

Married: No need for said unorthodox positions = Standard steering wheel reinstalled.
