Search for Muffler bearings

I have been into my Barn Find for 3 days now, and just wondering if any of you know where the muffler bearings are? I sent my bride out to the Auto Zone and told her to bring me some castrol 30 wt and to ask the counter person for a set of Muffler Bearings. Well, she called me from the parts store and put the counter person on the phone and he said he would have to look into it for me and who manufactured them. I Told him that it was manufactured by Butzen Weiney's for MGB's. I was told that he would look into it at length and took down my phone number, get back to me as soon as he finds out.
I wonder when he is going to figure this out or when he will get a clue.

Have him grab 20 feet of chow line and a bucket of relative bearing grease while he's looking.

You high desert folks.....geez, maneze.

You wouldn't do that if'n ya lived a few clicks north in Lancaster.
Palmdale...........catches all the runoff from the mountains.

Tell the parts guy to look in the catalogue between buckets of checkered paint and steel ruler stretchers. Muffler bearings are generally found right next to left handed screw drivers.

Tell him he can get muffler bearings at the same place where they sell glove compartment filters.

Also, you should change the air in those tires . . . :yesnod:

I hope she was in on the joke. If I did that to my wife without her knowing it, she would be my widow. :yesnod: :hammer::angel:

Yes, I usually change to summer air in the tires about the same time I plant the tomato plants, next week should be frost free!
That Kalecoauto site is fantastic, great source for white elephant gifts.

Hope you at least recycle the air onto the tomatoes

If the tire looks flat, thats ok, it still has air on the top!

And no, my wife was not in on it and I still chuckle when I look at her at dinner time. Gotta have my fun! Now if she finds out, and starts to look over and chukle at me while I am eating my dinner, it might be time for me to have my dinner anilyzed by a chemist, remember Loraina Bobbit?
