Seam Sealer for Engine Compartment

OK, some recent feedback on this topic. I am now not a big fan of the the Eastwood Brushable Seam Sealer. It seals well and drys quickly but looks pretty lousy. Would prefer a sealer that is doesn't show every tool mark (some leveling desired). I ended up using UPOL Tiger Seal in a caulking gun. $15 a tube and is just like laying down bathroom tile caulk. That works well for me and I'll use this for sealing the interior panels of my car. Stays flexible and easy to paint over.

In the shop,we us a professional grade sealer from Kent automotive It is a 2 part epoxy sealer that runs circles around anything else on the market(IMHO)either the 6000 or the 6115 is fine.I have used it for 20 +years with out failure.Never trust a caulking tube sealer......find a pro to help you.It is paintable in 15 minutes.
Some one said its expensive, IMHO paint that must be re-done is much more expensive.Do it once correctly, or wish you had......
