Some time in the past, one of the Thicko guys came up with a scheme to use sealed bearings and a double-lip seal with a speedi-sleeve that eliminates leaks, bearing failures, and other horrors (Spridget rear axle bearings). I think it may have been WST hisself. Anyway, I think I want to do it and I can't access the writeup. I had it bookmarked on Team.net but Team.net appears to be down hard - for days now. Anybody know what I'm talking about and maybe saved the writeup? I've got the bearings but I need the seal and speedi-sleeve part numbers. I'd also like to re-read the writeup before I plunge.
I hope Basil doesn't shoot me for mentioning brand X but I have to admit I have a serious Spridget/Healey/etc list addiction problem. I see some of you over there from time to time so I know I'm not alone, - don't yell at me.
If the weather holds and I get up the nerve, I may shoot some paint on the Bugeye in the next couple of days.
