Actually many years ago when I knew a lot of those folks I heard the legend that the original design team at Solihull was told by the marketing folks to make the new Rover SD1 "like the Ferrari 365GTB4 (Daytona), but with 4 doors"

That said, did you see the rotbox v8 P6 that just went on?

I saw a rotbox P6, but it was a 2000TC. I'll have to take a look.

Slightly sad for sure.
Its a shame the TC isn't a better body, one could consider putting the two together in that case.

The TC Looks worse if anything. That P6 3500S out in California was re-listed recently, but the reserve was till to high. That thing was a beauty, even with the vomit-coloured paint!
