Screw for the steering cowl.

It's been a few weeks, but I removed the screw from the top left side of the steering column holding the cowl in place. With my hands full under the dash, I gave to my wife to hold and she put it somewhere "safe". Well, still can't find itso if anyone has one of the beatsties that would like to adopted to a loving home, or an alternative I could use as the usual sources don't have them.
Thanks in advance! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Mine came without one so am interested in alternatives as well. DPO had electrical tape holding it together.

I've got a couple of ideas for an alternative, such as a 3" deck screw, but I don't want to use things like that if I can find the part, I'll let you know what I end up using and how well, badly it works.

Barry,I used #10*32 screws for this.Seemed to work.Mind you I say used,I should probably say,I think that's what I used. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
