Perhaps McLaren should start painting their cars red. It seems that all the decisions affecting the outcome of races go to the red cars. :wall:

:iagree:

That race brought tears to my eyes, with all due respect Hamilton is the best driver in the world right now hands down, what a smooth cat.

As I've preached plenty of times within the past couple of years, the SPEED channel is a mere shell of it's former self. I recall a great article by Craig Fitzgerald of Hemmings, " I love speed, I hate speed" that pretty much summed up my feelings exactly. F1 is one of the only reasons I keep it. The rest in my opinion is garbage.

:iagree: Not much speed left on "speed"!!! IMHO too much NASCAR and "game show" type shows!!!...but then again, what's the alternative??

What I can't understand is this new style of programming that appears to be more of a soap opera. You may get 5 min of shots of the cars or racing or action, and 25 min of grown men acting like 2nd graders in the sandbox.

GRRRR!!

Ok, I guess it's time for me to fall off my high horse now.

Hamilton picked up from where Schumacher left off. His rise to the top has been amazing to watch.

The video shots from the helicopter were some of the best that I've seen in a long time. I watched the race for third time last night (recorded and locked on my DVR), it's been a long time since I've been that excited for the last few laps of a race. Heidfeld came into the pits with two laps to go, switched to wet tires, and climbed from seventh to third in the last lap. I think if he came in a lap earlier, he might have won it.

It's too bad that Kimi spun out. I don't care for him, but to see those two battle to the end on slicks would have been priceless.

BTW, McLaren is going ahead with the appeal.
