Found a '76 Capri on Craigslist.org, for the measly sum of
$400.00, checked it out last weekend, body is straight as a
pin, with a little surface rust, but has no cancer to speak
of. I'm stoked...
Haven't decided what I'm going to do with it, I consider it
a rescue job, the IPO didn't have a clue how much fun these
cars can be. Oh yeah, it's a V6 4 speed car, so it will
keep me entertained...
Congrats! Funny you should bring this up - I actually saw a nice silver one behind the wife & I when we where going to the store (another story). She couldn't understand why I was fussing so much about it.

I actually had a 72 "Carprice" a number of years ago (nice big car!) anyway when I listed it for sale, the paper printed a type-o and listed it as a 72 Capri. I must have had to clear 20 calls before I relized what'd happened. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
Very cool! Tell him you won't take it unless you get all the shopping carts with it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
Seriously, hope it's loads of cheap fun.
