I never heard of a Scimitar as posted in another thread, but looking it up, it's a very beautiful car! PJ

Always thought the Reliant had a family resemblance to Giugiaro's Lotus Eclat or Excel design (or vice-versa), especially at the rear:

Speaking of Giugiaro - this showed up in a Facebook group yesterday - three Giugiaro designs - and you can really see the family resemblance.

It is - and I would never have seen the family resemblance if it weren't for the picture. (kind of like a Scirocco that grew up into a Delorean and let itself go into a Pony)
