Yes, Peter McManus owns the Alligator. I was just talking to him and his wife a few hours ago (here in Pittsburgh). He's brought his other car to the GP.....an Allard. He has a Brewster-bodied Lincoln plus some other stuff too....quite a collection. A really nice guy.
