I think this dealer's finding every '70's Torino in SW Virginia.

The only one I've seen.It's actually in really good shape -
not a rust bucket.
Maybe it's spent a lot of time in the garage.

Don't forget it was made of Acrylic Resin (in New Brunswick) - connection to the Delorean. Pretty sure Malcolm Bricklin passed on the plans to Delorean. Bricklin also imported the Subaru 360 and the Yugo.

I would love a Bricklin (or a Manic GT) as a Canadian Made car.

The Manic GT, I've only heard about them, never seen one in the flesh, there probably aren't many survivors left, they probably only sold a few in the first place...

Anorak fact, while the Bricklin was made in Canada it wasn't sold here... :smile:

When I was a teenagers I would walk past one on the way to school - they had put an 'A' sticker after the i and before the c.

They show up occasionaly for sale - I actually saw the molds a few years ago and (hopefully) they ended up in the hands of the club.
 
JP - you wouldn't want a Bricklin. Enthusiast friend of mine had one. It leaked like a sieve every time it rained and had other problems.
True, I should stick with ragtop british cars. 😁 they never leak.

I think some careful mods could make it a very cool car. BUt then I'm an idiot that way.

NO amount of fettling could make one a "cool car" to own. At a point in my days as a salesweasel a guy drove one in to try and trade it on an Alfetta GT. Dealership owner saw it coming, said flat-out: "NO! Don't want it on the lot!" Interior smelled of mold, door struts were shot (can't believe how HEAVY the doors are), rattles and squeaks from the suspension... hateful thing it was. The poor owner was crestfallen.
